A very rare and valuable early Gary Levinson Blade R-1 red guitar. Produced in 1991 in Switzerland. At that time, its retail price was 1690 CHF, or arround £1000. It comes in red colour. This guitar wasn't allowed to be sold in the US due to Fender law suits. Although its is basicly one of the best strat copies ever made, it actually has loads of original features which makes it class of its own. Main features: Levinson locking tuners - Maple neck - Jumbo frats - grafit nut - Active electronics - 5 way pickup selector - 3 way VSC mode selector - 3 Levinson noisless single pickups - VSC variable spectrum control. This guitar is practically off the market, the production ended years ago, so this is very rare opportunity. Gives variety of sounds, from classical strat "twing", through warm blues to crunchy metal which makes it a perfect "cover" guitar. A lot of it is due to the switchable active electronics. Perfect as a stage guitar for clubs, since you won't need more than this one to cover your gig.
